So, one question which I constantly ask my clients is what is your requirement, what are the business goals you are trying to achieve. The same questions are also applicable even for goals in other areas of life too.

Hi, I am Dr Maharaja SivaSubramanian N. Blogger, Coach, Consultant, Speaker and Trainer. Of all my clients who come in to work with me, I ask them what are your goals. More so, when the person coming over is self-employed, solopreneur or a small business owner.

There are always certain factors which guide and add clarity to how you make your business decisions. Some of them like the ones discussed in this article are covered in the Business Leadership Bootcamp. It is factors like these which aid in better clarity. And this clarity helps you run your business more productively. And better business productivity leads to improved business profitability.

And I almost keep on asking them the same during every meeting and interaction. And this is why?

Technology keeps on getting advanced.

This is a big one. So, it’s the technology as in what enables us to get things done. And also the technology within, (the techniques, which I constantly keep on learning more), which gets updated. And as such, if there is something that you want to ahieve new, we may now have a technology now which might makes it possible and easy from previously difficult or impossible.

Priorities change as we grow.

Life is something we grow and we are in such a great time when it comes to the way the world is progressing. And it is happening in such a way that you might actually be having your priorities changing. And if it is so, let us change the way we work rather than sticking on to the old things just because we fixed it in the first place. Let us have the flexibility and adaptibility.

The more you move forward, the better clarity emerges.

Progress helps you to see what lies ahead. It is like a car journey where you are able to fix a final destination and at the same time, you are able to see the next 200 meters or so. Maybe now you can see a cool food joint where you want to have a tummy fill, maybe a tree where you just want to park and relax. Something like that. You may able to better articulate what you want to achieve, you may see that you might aim at a better target rather than chasing something that you thought that you wanted.

And the above are the three reasons why I keep on asking people what you want? In fact, I have had some of my clients have great improvement, quantum leaps of progress that they were seeking for years by making them ask this question what they wanted almost every single day.

So, what is your requirement?
What are the business goals you are trying to achieve?
What is the success you are trying to accomplish?

Ask these questions as much as possible. And the clarity will give you immense power and direction.
